January 2010
Temptation / Heaven 17 & La Roux

Yesterday was amazingly awesome & painful.
I got up at 5am and was dressed and out the door by about half past. I met up with my friend and we set off for Birmingham, we got there at around 6ish, maybe sometime after.
Once we got there, we had nothing to do so we went McDonalds (best breakfasts ever!) and then went to HMV were we waited about about an hour and a half to receive a wristband, I also made a friend while waiting so that’s pretty sweet. After that we pretty much wondered around Birmingham shopping and going to Starbucks (which I now love). We then dumped all our shopping in the car and went to the pictures where we saw Daybreakers which was pretty sweet. Then we walked to the O2 Academy to get tickets for A Day to Remember and made our way to HMV.
This is where it gets painful. We waited for half an hour outside HMV before we were let in at 5pm which is when lostprophets were meant to appear and sign our CD sleeves. At half 6, they finally appeared which means an hour and half of standing which is unbelievably painful when you’ve spent all day walking around before that but they were nice about it which is pretty darn good.
We then went back to the car and made our way, again to the 02 Academy only to realise when we got there, we didn’t have the concert tickets so I joined the que while my friend ran back. Once inside and the gig had started, all support bands were epic (they were Lights & Sounds + Me vs Hero), Breathe Carolina came on and OMG, it was simply the best concert ever and chatting to the guys after was pretty awesome as well. ^_^ I finally got home sometime after 11.
Long day much? But it was worth it and I just had to get it out and down somewhere so I can never forget the pure awesomeness that was the 20th January! :D
What Is Love? / Klaas Meets Haddaway
What’s better then originals? Remixes! (or what I assume is a remix), especially ones you can have on repeat for ages and not grow tired of.
Yeah, I know I’m lame but who cares? :D
Ambling Alp / Yeasayer
I’m in love, with this song.
